Optional online competition

Campaign and Endless remain playable without joining Monthly Flight. If you choose to enter, Game Center verifies your identity. We store a hashed game-specific player identifier and a generated callsign, not your Apple ID email, real name, Game Center nickname or password.

Results and verification

Your callsign, best monthly score and earned trophies or stars are public. The app sends the controls recorded during a run so the server can recalculate its result. Replays are processed for verification; the server retains a replay hash, result, rules version and run timestamps, not the raw controls. A result awaiting upload is saved on your device until accepted or discarded.

Security and storage

Short-lived identity proofs, sessions and request counters protect the service. Sessions expire after two hours, proof records after five minutes, and counters after their request window. Expired temporary records are pruned on subsequent sign-ins; abandoned runs older than two days are also pruned. An IP-derived request key is used to limit abusive sign-in requests. Hosting providers may process network metadata needed to deliver and secure the service.

Retention and deletion

Verified results and monthly honors remain while the competition service operates, unless you delete your online data. Use Settings → Delete leaderboard data in the game, authenticate with the same Game Center account, and confirm. This permanently deletes your online profile, scores and honors, but does not delete your Apple account, purchases or offline progress. You may also contact us about your data. Monthly Flight records are not used for advertising or sold.

Service providers

Apple provides Game Center identity verification. The leaderboard is hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. This supplement covers Monthly Flight; the game’s main privacy policy covers advertising, purchases and other game features.
